What makes Belvedere different from other PEI golf courses?

Belvedere is one of the oldest golf clubs in Atlantic Canada with a classic, mature layout along the West River. It's set right in Charlottetown, so you get the convenience of being minutes from hotels and restaurants without sacrificing course quality. The riverfront holes are particularly scenic.

How does wind affect play at Belvedere?

The river corridor creates natural wind channels on holes 4, 8, and 14 — you'll feel southwest winds more than expected on those stretches. The inland holes are well-sheltered by established trees. When the OpenAir wind reading is above 25 km/h from the southwest, play conservatively on the riverside holes.

Is Belvedere walkable, or do most people use carts?

The course is very walkable — relatively flat with gentle elevation changes, and the layout flows logically between holes. Walking is a great option on cooler mornings. Cart rentals are available if you prefer. Morning tee times in summer are especially pleasant for walkers before the heat builds.
